Our Services + Guarantee

The following document has been prepared by Oztel Communications. From here on, any reference to, we, us, the company, the business, Oztel, Oztelco, Oztel Communications, shall be assumed to refer to our business, Oztel Communications. The following document outlines the terms and conditions of the service we provide.
The terms and conditions is a contract between us and yourself (the customer) and governs the commissioning of service by you to us. It covers both the website,, as well as any phone conversation that occurs between you or us.

Once you have accepted our terms and conditions, we will provide you the service, whether it was booked online or via our phone number. You can use our website to book jobs and our technician will call you to confirm the details. Any contact you make with us via email will be treated as consent that we can communicate with you electronically.

We offer a consumer guarantee as per the minimum standards that are required by Australian Consumer Law. As we operate in an industry where our service involves installing cables and fixing faults, we do a thorough investigation before resolving any dispute. Our aim is to do our best to come to agreement with the customer.
We have the right to terminate or refuse service to you without any warnings. You agree to provide the correct information to us when you are seeking a quote.

Our technician hours are 7am-5pm, Monday to Saturday. Our phone call hours are 7am-7pm, Monday to Sunday.

We may, at our discretion, refuse to service some areas unless we can get enough jobs in that area.

If you do not agree to this agreement, then we cannot fulfil any request by you.

Our Pricing Structure

All prices quoted, whether on our website or by phone or email, covers labour for 1 hour. This would typically be enough time to do a job. After one hour, we use discretion to charge $22 per 15 minutes of labour. This price includes a reasonable amount of material required to complete the job. Should extra materials be required, we reserve the right to charge extra for it (the materials).

Furthermore, we reserve the right to charge a call out fee for any charges that relate to travel and time expenses. Our minimum call out is $88. This may be charged if we come on site and provide a quote and the customer does not decide to go ahead with us.

Note that all quoted and invoiced prices are inclusive of GST.

Invoicing and Payment By Customers

We issues fully paid invoices as per request of the customer. We do not give account terms to customers and all services are to be paid upon completion of service. Payment can be made by cash or by credit card via an app (invoice2go), with immediate approval, and paid invoice sent to the customers email.

When we take credit card payments, we expect the details provided are correct and you are authorised to use the credit card. The information you provide will not be shared to any third party, unless required by law. We will not be held liable for any fraudulent transactions.

Returns & Refund and Replacement Policy

We only refund goods or services as required by Australian Consumer Law. If the job cannot completed for any reason, we reserve the right to charge a minimum fee of $88 inc GST to cover us coming out. If any equipment we provide fails within 14 days due to no fault of your own, we will make arrangements to fix it. If we find that the fault was due to something you did, then we will charge the minimum call out fee + any additional labour as well as any materials required to complete the job.


We reserve the right to cancel any order, or refuse to provide any service for any reason. If you have already paid for a service, then we will refund you the money should the cancellation come from us.

If a customer cancels, we would need at least 1 hour notice and if we have made any job specific purchases, then we reserve the right to charge you for that.

Using Third Party Contractors

Due to the nature of being contractors, often there is a need to subcontract work out to other contractors. We reserve the right to use appropriate third party contractors, who are fully licenced and insured, to perform the services we offer.


The Oztel Communications logos and names and anything related to our business specifically including icons, designs, are all the property of Mint Cabling Services Pty Ltd. Any third party references belong to the third party companies.Only Oztel Communications can make representations of our content or business on any medium.

Privacy Policy

We do not disclose any of your personal information to third parties, unless requested by yourself or by the law.

Modification of Terms & Conditions

We may, at any time, modify our term and conditions without any prior warning to you. If you proceed with our services, you agree to adhere to our terms and conditions.

Agreement to these terms and conditions

You agree to agree to all parts of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, then we reserve the right to not provide our services.
